TTS22 staff and teachers: Thanks for making our trip to DC so memorable. We really appreciate the attention to detail, the planning and the playfulness. It made turning over Anne to you much easier, although I can't say leaving was fun. We look forward to updates as time permits and we will see you in Windhoek. John and Lolo.
Thank you Brenna for this 1st picture! It's so very perceptive on your part :)
For those of you that could not make it to DC, I want to share one of my favorite memories of those few days. At the dinner we had together on Tuesday, all the girls sat together at a long table, separate from the adults, and bonded over their home lives and past adventures, as well as their future shared adventures with TTS yet to come. The girls looked so incredibly happy together. Later that evening, during the TTS orientation/presentation, a sense of tremendous relief came over me. Not only was this amazing for our daughter Ariela, but we are so thrilled that she will be sharing this remarkable experience with the girls and teachers of TTS22! And thanks for that final pic- it was exactly what I needed to see when I firs opened the blog page when I got home last night. All the best from New Haven and looking forward to keeping in contact through this blog with all of you, Rebecca and Andres Martin
